Biography
Jonathan joined OMERS in 2014 and has led the European Private Equity business for OMERS since 2018. With a focus on pan-European and global companies headquartered in the UK, France and the Benelux, the team actively seeks opportunities for OMERS to grow its portfolio of high-quality European assets. Most recently Jonathan led OMERS investments in Bionic, Network Plus and the exit, and subsequent re-investment, in Trescal, OMERS first private equity investment in Continental Europe. Jonathan is also a member of OMERS Global Private Equity Investment Committee. He is currently a non-executive director of AMS, Trescal, Network Plus and Bionic.
Before joining the OMERS, Jonathan was a founding partner of Cognetas LLP, a pan-European private equity firm where, from 2009, he co-led their London office. Jonathan has been an investor in the European private equity market for over 30 years. He began his career at Arthur Andersen.
Jonathan has a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Accounting from Bristol University.
