Matthew Johnston

Matthew is a Senior Associate on the OMERS Private Equity team in New York. He is responsible for the origination, execution, and management of private equity investments across the Industrial Services and Business Services sectors in North America. Matthew was involved in the sale of Paradigm and is an active member of the KAG asset management team. He joined the team in October 2025.

Prior to joining OMERS, Matthew worked as an Associate in private equity at 65 Equity Partners and Brookfield. Before transitioning to private equity, he worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and Citi.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Penn State.
