Walid Hassan

Walid is a Senior Associate in the Toronto office of OMERS Private Equity, having joined in 2022.

He is responsible for the origination, execution, and management of control-oriented investments across a broad range of sectors. Walid is an active member of the Premise Health and CBI Health asset management teams.

Prior to joining OMERS, Walid led corporate real estate investments, strategic growth initiatives, and development for RBI - a $500M EBITDA portfolio consisting of 5,500 properties. Prior to that, he advised private equity clients on commercial due diligence as part of Kepler Cannon’s global strategy consulting practice out of New York.

Walid holds a bachelor’s degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from Yale University.
